Search Engine Optimisation
If you’re looking for anything, where do you go? Google, right? (this is what 92.46% use around the world).
SEO can be added to any website package or done at a later date. I will put together a strategy to get your website seen. Not only seen by people but, seen by the right people - your target audience.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for search engine optimisation. What’s that? It’s getting a website to rank higher in search engine results pages (SERP). It’s an organic way to get traffic to your website.
Search engines want to provide not only quality results but also relevant results. They will 'crawl' websites to better understand what the website is about, how easy it is to navigate, loading time and content. If the website meets the search engines wish list, the website will rank higher.
What’s the point in having a beautiful website if it can’t be found?
SEO will make sure you aren’t sitting on page 3 of SERP.
Still thinking “what the heck?!”
Perfect example is right here. I have an H1 title “SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION” and further down I have an H2 title “WHAT IS SEO”. When someone types into google either of these my website will rank higher than it did without them. Having them in body text (this is body text) isn’t nearly as powerful as having keywords in H1, H2, H3 titles. Blog posts are also another great area to add in titles and content, like this one “want to up your SEO game?”.
